With the holiday season is upon us, we'll be playing some Christmas/Holiday music, including some in Hawaiian like "Silent Night". There will also be a nice mix of songs including some 3 & 4 chord ones, more Hawaiian (always), Beatles, other post-Beatles solo works, Tin Pan Alley and more! Song booklets for everyone.
We're on WGN TV 'Chicago's Very Own', "The Celebrated & Festive Sound of Ukulele" special program, Dec. 19, 2012! http://wgntv.com/2012/12/19/the-celebrated-and-festive-sound-of-ukulele/
Please RSVP so we know how many tables and song books are needed to set up and bring.
So, come out and join 'Chicagoland's most 'seriously fun' Ukulele group!
We now meet once-a-month, the first Tuesday of each month, at The Tiki Terrace - Hawaiian Restaurant & Tiki Bar in Des Plaines! This is REAL Hawaiian hospitality, atmosphere and food! There's even a stage! The PERFECT venue for our Meetups and room to grow even more!
