We are the 'sister' Uke group of Wonderwall's Ukulele Meetup Group in Des Plaines.

Our Uke Meetups are intimate, more focused, class-like. We take time to learn songs, different strums, correct pronunciation of Hawaiian words and more. This is not your typical strum-along but are having fun learning!

We'll be playing from the following songbooks at this Meetup:
Hawaiian - Volumes 1 & 2
Love Songs For Ukulele (Members, please bring your copy. Limited copies for newbies)

Songbooks, bottled water, snacks and music stand use are provided.
All current members should bring all their old and new song booklets.

Join our Meetup group and download the Hawaiian songbooks.

Fee: $10 per person
Evening format:
6:00 PM - play Hawaiian songs
6:50 PM Break
7:10 PM Play from other songbooks
End evening with 'Aloha O'e' and 'Hawai'i Aloha'.

Founded in 2013, UKULELE SUBURBIA is the sister and Chicagoland's south suburb Ukulele meetup group.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, except when a major holiday falls on that Wednesday. (i.e. - New Years, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, etc.) or if personal situation (illness, etc.) arises.
