If you love Hawaiian music and Hawaiian Slack Key guitar, here are a couple of events happening in Chicagoland this wkd!

Chicago's north side.......................................................................................... 
When:  FEB. 8th -  SATURDAY  8:00 PM
Where: Old Town School of Folk Music - 
Who:    George Kahumoku, Jr & Ledward Kaapana.
             Hawaiian slack key masters bring a piece of Hawaiian flavor to the 
             Chicagoland area. If you've never seen them, and you love Hawaiian
             music, slack key guitar style, this is a MUST! 

George & Ledward will also be giving workshops that AFTERNOON. Please double check times and fees with Old Town School.


And in Downers Grove.......................................................................................
When:  FEB. 8th - SATURDAY  7-8:30 PM
Where: Caribou Coffee - 5100 Main StDowners Grove, Illinois 60515
Who:     THE SWEET PINEAPPLES - Chicago's All Female Hawaiian Music Group
              'Pineapples' Ruth, Tina and GiGi performing Hawaiian meles (songs) with 
               Ukuleles, vocals and hula.
