What we're about

This is a community drum circle for like-minded people who’d like to experience the joy of drumming. Beginners to advanced players… all are welcome. Participants are encouraged to share what they know. All percussion and related instruments are well received. If you have a drum, bring it; we have a few. Our organization has approximately 20 drums which can be played by anyone who does not have a drum.

We have a large outside area that will allow us to jam when the weather is good. Our inside area will accommodate up to 25 people. The 2nd Saturday of the month, 12 –3 is our standing schedule (unless notified in advanced).

Hot water and tea are provided by our organization and you are welcome to help yourselves. We accept donations in the form of money, tea, paper products, dish soap, etc, to help pay for this free service. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks (no alcohol.)

We ask that all members are to treat one another with courtesy and respect. Our group is for adults only. Although we love little ones, this group is for anyone under the age of 18 and up.

Our Group Facilitator: Dr. Caratozzolo (Dr. C) is a Health Rhythms Group Empowerment trained facilitator; he uses the drum as a tool for wellness, communication and personal expression.

It is important to let us know you will be attending… Please opt-in to receive e-mail messages on Meetup; that’s how we’ll communicate any last minute changes in the schedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. We are looking forward to meeting you and drumming up some fun on the second Saturday of the month between 12- 3.
