    Hi Everyone!! I'm so excited to be collaborating again for a morning of healing and connection with the beautiful Jennifer Franklin. Our class is 45 minutes of Breathwork followed immediately with 45 minutes of acoustic sound healing. With crystal bowls, a gorgeous gong and other instruments, the vibrations clear the subconscious mind, reduce stress, and naturally help the body to heal. It's the best way to end a Breathwork class and you're guaranteed to leave feeling amazing. HOW DO YOU DO IT? We are balancing the nervous system by just breathing, lying face up on the floor, with an easy 3 step technique. We use the belly and mouth to take in lots of oxygen and move trapped energy out of the body. We'll teach you the 3 step process, check on you throughout the class and guide you the whole time. This active meditation is unique because it has great music and motivation (us!) so it's not the boring, quiet meditation you're used to. For the Soundbath, it's all about relaxing and blissing out to the music.......ah! WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BREATHWORK? Scientifically, Breathwork calms the mind, reduces the release of stress hormones cortisol and vasopressin and increases the “feel-good” hormones oxytocin and prolactin. By breathing in this fashion, we bring in a lot of oxygen to our blood, which changes the PH and creates more alkalinity in the body. It slows down the heart rate and blood pressure, reduces anxiety and improves stress-related health conditions, including insomnia, IBS, depression, Crohn's disease, etc. Basically, you’ll feel better and have a stronger, more loving connection with yourself. In 2018, she completed a one year mastermind functional life coaching program with industry leader, Mastin Kipp. She earned a BA from UCSB in Spanish and Psychology. You're in good hands. This class is about putting yourself first, getting clear on who you are and removing resistance to anything that isn't helpful in your life. Bring a yoga mat and water. (There are free mats available if you don't have one.) An eye mask is optional. Try to avoid eating 2 hours prior. Free parking lot and Main Entrance are located in the rear of the building, which is south of Ventura Blvd, off of Costanso St. Look for a white sign that reads "Great India Cafe parking" and pull in there. There's also a sign that says "Yoga" to locate studio. Plenty of free street parking also available. **If it's your first time to the studio, please come a few minutes early to sign in and set up. $20. Please bring cash only
