Let's head out for a MidPackers Long, Slow Distance (MPLSD) Run. We will start and finish at the Starbucks on Queens Blvd and 46th Street.
9:00am, Starbucks in Sunnyside. There will be several pace groups, depending on who attends. Typically we have 8-minute, 9-minute, and 10-minute-per-mile groups. Please let your leaders know which group you'll be running in!
Watch the comments section for details about this week's MPLSD, including route, total distance and any other specifics that you'll need to know. Please make sure you are able to run the posted distance, and familiarize yourself with the posted route map. This is for your safety and to help keep the group moving at a consistent pace. It's a good idea to bring your Metrocard and some cash in case you need to cut the run short.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to bring along any fluids and/or nutrition you may need to successfully complete this distance as we'd like to make minimal stops. This is for your health, safety, and comfort.
