Up where the metro meets the mountains, in Cherokee County, GA a hearty band of WordPress users meet regularly to trade wisdom and build skills. We have events for everyone from total noobs to advanced users. The fourth Tuesday of every month, we have Happiness Bar and/or topics for beginners. The first Wednesday of every month, we have a more business oriented event. We are adding a development track, soon. We are seeing explosive growth and look forward to serving the far North Atlanta area for years to come.
We're a group of local WordPress developers, designers, and publishers who get together to share our knowledge and experience, and to meet other WordPress users in the area. This WordPress Meetup is open to all who love WordPress --- join us!
WordPress Global Community Sponsors help fund WordPress Meetup groups and WordCamps around the world. Thank you to GreenGeeks, WooCommerce, Jetpack, Bluehost, and GoDaddy Pro for their support!
In this presentation I'll "argue" that web devs should not only setup Google Analytics for each of their clients but send them an automated, monthly report showing their progress. I'll have a sample report for them to use, too. The point: even if the client says they don't want or even look at Google Analytics, thiis monthly report will benefit you (as their dev) in several ways: it will remind them that the website you built for them is doing something to help their business so, when it comes time for a new website, they realize it's worth spending money for more; it will tempt them with the question, "if this is how much I'm getting now, how can I get more?" and then you can offer services like SEO or social media marketing (as recurring revenue) to them so they can get even more.
