Welcome to Our Meetup. We meet once a month to learn from each other on all things WordPress! All levels of knowledge and use of WordPress welcomed - new bloggers all the way to developers.

Our meetup starts with a guest speaker on a particular topic, followed by group discussion and finally with **The Happiness Bar**

The Happiness Bar is an open forum where attendees can have their WordPress questions answered by others. Together we can solve many of your WordPress conundrums through four main 'help groups'. Not sure how to install a plugin? Wondering how to customize your navigation menu? Want to know how to get the most out of SEO? The happiness bar is a great opportunity to get one-on-one help and advice.

We are an inclusive group, so as long as you have an interest in WordPress, we want to see your lovely face! As a new member, please familiarize yourself with our code of conduct:

  • WordPress Meetups are for the benefit of the WordPress community as a whole, not specific businesses or individuals. All actions taken as an event organizer are with the best interest of the community in mind.

  • Membership in the local meetup group is open to all who wish to join, regardless of ability, skill, financial status or any other criteria.

  • Meetups are volunteer-run with volunteer speakers. In cases where a modest attendance fee might be necessary, this fee should only cover the costs of the meetup and shouldn’t be used to pay speakers or organizers.

  • Meetup groups allow events to be organized by any reliable/trusted member of the community.

  • Meetups are welcoming places where everyone works to foster an accepting environment which is free of discrimination, incitement to violence, promotion of hate, and general jerk-like behavior.
