WordPress 5.3 is currently in early development with target release for November. This month will be a news roundup of all things happening within WordPress core development. When you leave this Meetup, you'll feel comfortable creating custom plugins and adding them to your WordPress website, even if your knowledge of coding is limited to copying and pasting. I'm a contract web developer who writes custom WordPress plugins for a living, and I'll explain how plugins work before creating a few examples. **SPECIAL AUSTIN OUT-OF-TOWN EDITION** Your regularly-scheduled host, Austin Ginder, will be on vacation during July's meetup.
