# Writing Maintainable and Scalable CSS
CSS is like a gremlin. Cute, cuddly and easy to understand when you first pick it up. However, neglect it or don’t set out rules and it can quickly turn into a nightmare. Ben will discuss and share practical examples of how to write CSS for sites of all sizes; from a small blog up to multiple enterprise websites. At each step, we’ll not just look at how things should be done, but why and what happens when you ignore best practices.
Presented by Ben Furfie. Ben is the lead web developer within the digital marketing team at IMImobile. He is a full stack developer, with a particular focus on the front end - including enterprise architecture patterns and performance optimisation.
