New To The Group?

Our meetup group is very active and we get together 3 or more times a month. We certainly don’t expect you to be at each meetup - although you are more than welcome to attend them all - but to ease the confusion as to which meetup you should come to, we have a small summary of each meetup and who they are suited for:

Beginner/User Group - meetup every second Tuesday of the month.
Developer Group - meetup every third Wednesday of the month.
Ringwood Group - meetup every first Wednesday of the month.

What can I expect on the night?
Meetups commence at 6:30pm with some social mingling and free pizza (thanks to our sponsors). You will have a chance to meet like-minded people, and the organizers will be available if you have any burning questions you are keen to ask.

At 7pm we get underway with housekeeping and any WordPress news, followed by presentations from our speakers based on the topic for the night.

If there is time, we will open up the floor to Q&A.

The meetup finishes at 8:30pm. We head to a local pub for a drink where we can continue any conversations and do some more mingling.

Can I bring a friend to the Meetup? YES!

You are more than welcome to bring a friend with you. Coming to your first meetup can be a scary experience, we’ve been there too, so if you need safety in numbers, bring the numbers with you! Just make sure that when RSVP you add either +1 or +2

Who are the organizers? - Aaron Rutley, Anthony Hortin, Chris Burgess, Dee Teal and Peter Wilson - you can follow the links to our Meetup Profiles to read more about us.
