Monthly WordPress Meetup - Show and Tell

  • January 18 · 7:00 PM
  • Urbanoid Workspace

We are trying to bring together the local WordPress community so that we can network and share thoughts and ideas about WordPress - with free drinks and nibbles provided by our sponsors Made With Joy.

This month we will be doing a show and tell where you can show off the awesome projects that you are working on or have completed recently. You could talk about an interesting plugin that you found or decisions that you made when creating the site.  This could include the front end of the site, the admin area or the code used in a custom theme.

Please leave a comment if you would like to present something.

Update on location the building is on the main Osney Mead Road right by the mini roundabout as you come off Ferry Hinksey Road. We will be in the second building.

The comment below should say year rather than summer

Have had a loook at Wordcamps in the UK this summer. I will add what I have found to the Google Doc.

Rather stupid question, but how does one get into the building?

Dear all, it seems «Osney Mead» is both a street and all the cul-de-sacs off that same main street. The google map link does not help in finding out where exactly is the Kings Meadow. Has this anything to do with the Kings Centre? Many thanks for your help.

Urbanoid Workspace Oxford. 3 Kings Meadow, Osney Mead Oxford OX2 0DP

If you turn into Ferry Hinksey Road off the Botley road, head down to the first min roundabout and turn left. 1 Workspace Oxford is the corner building with a big green Workspace Oxford sign on the wall. No. 3 is a little further down but has no sign on the wall yet. Call when you get there and I will come down and open the door.

Plenty of free 2 hour parking nearby.

If you are coming into Oxford central rail station then the Workspace Oxford offices are a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Apologies but I can't make this evening, as I've had a meeting changed. Hope to join the next WPOX meetup.

I am a WordPress user, not a developer; but remain hopeful that some of your expertise will rub off...

All levels are welcome, I'm sure you'll be developing in no time! :)

I would like to show a site currently on Wix, to discuss best way to move to Wordpress. Note I am an author and publisher, not a techie :-)

We can certainly have a look at that and offer some suggestions.

Can't make this one as up in Birmingham. Hope it goes well

Would have liked to attend this now my Wednesday evenings are freer, but am already committed to attending another talk in Bracknell.
