The first WordPress Suffolk Meetup (https://wpsuffolk.org). This is an opportunity to come together and shape the future of these events.
We will be holding an informal meetup for WordPress developers, designers, users and business owner to speak out and let us know what you want from your local WordPress meetup.
We will be meeting the second Thursday of every month. The format will consist of speakers, open discussion, round tables, lightning talks and your ideas.
The event will be influenced by our experiences and feedback we've received over the years of organising the WordPress London Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/London-WordPress/).
# The WordPress Suffolk Meetup & You
This will be an open discussion about the brand new WordPress Suffolk meetup. Dan will be inviting you to shape the future of the events.
Presented by Dan Maby. Dan is a director at Blue 37 (https://blue37.com/) a creative digital agency. He thrives on business development & project management, as well as having a passion for productivity & marketing. When not in front of a screen, you'll find him organising events. Follow him @danmaby (https://twitter.com/danmaby).
# How Do You Contribute To WordPress?
Daniel will be about how someone can get involved with WordPress and learning how they can contribute to any aspect of the project. He'll walk through some examples and explain how easy it really is. You just need to know where to look. The idea and hope is that you will then be able to go away and used what you've learnt to give back to the community.
Presented by Daniel James. Dan is a Website Developer from Colchester who works at Coast Digital (http://www.coastdigital.co.uk/) building websites and web applications with a main focus on WordPress. Follow him @danieltj27 (https://twitter.com/danieltj27).
