At the WordPress Suffolk Meetup (https://wpsuffolk.org) this month we're learning about SVGs and getting hands-on with our WordPress sites.
We will be holding an informal meetup for WordPress developers, designers, users and business owner. Meeting the second Thursday of every month. The format will consist of speakers, open discussion, round tables, lightning talks and your ideas.
The event will be influenced by our experiences and feedback we've received over the years of organising the WordPress London Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/London-WordPress/).
# SVGs - where design meets development
SVGs have many uses on the web including logos, icons and illustrations. This talk explains when, why and how you would use them. It will cover how to create a SVG in the right format, different ways that you can add them to a website, security and accessibility considerations and some of the creative and cool things that you can do with them.
