I've made a commitment to blog once a week on Tuesday mornings...will you join me?
If you have been thinking about starting a blog or already have one, come and join the Peninsula Blogging Club...a weekly accountability blogging community. We will meet every Tuesday, beginning September 10th, 2013. Come once a week or once a month.
In this informative, hands-on blogging workshop/kickoff meeting, Phyllis Garland will show you how to rank higher on Google, come up with catchy blog titles, generate more ideas for blog posts, use the top 12 plugins to make your website/blog sticky, and much more.
It's everything you need to get started, and by the end of the workshop, you will leave as a blogger.

• How to promote your blog and increase traffic to your website
• Why Google loves WordPress and blogs

• 10 must have WordPress plugins for your blog
• How to make your blog visually reflect your style by adding pics and videos
• Why every business owner needs to be blogging on a regular basis

• How to turn your knowledge and purpose into expertise status
• How to keep the conversation going
• How to block time in your calendar
TIME TO BLOG
Bring your laptop computer (or a notebook to take lots of notes). During this 2-hour workshop, you will be given 30 minutes of quiet time to blog about your subject of expertise. This is the perfect opportunity to put a couple of blogs under your belt.
Blogging is all about community! During the workshop, time will be allotted for attendees to review and comment on each others blogs. This not only builds community, but it builds your brand and recognition.

"The Blogging event was great. I have been blogging some but not sure about dropping in pictures etc. I had a couple of WordPress questions in general and they were all answered. Also take away information, questions and answers, feedback. We blogged and got feedback from others and we commented on their blog as well. Phyllis really loves what she does and wants to help and support. That is one of the things that makes her so special.” – Candace Harding, http://www.CandaceHarding.com
