WordSmitten Writing Workshop Pages

What?
The WordSmitten Writing Workshops provide a casual gathering for writers who want to turn creative ideas into novels, short stories, and feature articles for magazines or newspapers.

Who?
The Meetup is organized by newspaper columnist and magazine editor/publisher Kate Sullivan. Kate is the executive editor of www.wordsmitten.com and WordSmitten Media, Inc., and for more than ten years has been an educator, a featured speaker, and a host/facilitator of writing/publishing workshops. For more than four years, she has been executive producer and host of the WordSmitten "About the Books" broadcast. Segments of "About the Books" create a forum for Pulitzer Prize-winning authors and notable celebrity authors to discuss compelling and sophisticated ideas about the craft of writing. The show is heard on both terrestrial and online radio stations including Sarasota's WLSS-AM 930 News Talk Radio, iTunes, LearnOutLoud.com, and New York's Internet Radio, www.blogtalkradio.com on Sunday afternoons.

Kate on the Road
Upcoming speaking engagements include the writing conference hosted by the legendary Oprah-pick author Connie May Fowler (registration has CLOSED for this event, but you can be placed on the waiting list for next year by e-mailing MAIL@WRITINGBELOWSEALEVEL.COM). Ms. Fowler's novels include "Before Women Had Wings," "The Problem With Murmur Lee," and "Sugar Cage." Her new novel, "How Clarissa Burden Learned to Fly," was launched in April 2010. Read Ms. Fowler's blog and get inside info at:
