This event is for anyone with an idea or venture that uses tech to improve the prospects and power of workers.
"The opportunity for tech-led, pro-worker innovation are many, but there are just too few people pursuing this agenda. That's what we want to change." - Gavin Kelly, CEO Resolution Trust
We'll be discussing the funding landscape for WorkerTech ventures and we'll hear from a range of funders and entrepreneurs, including:
The RSA Future Work Centre
Ufi Charitable Trust
Bethnal Green Ventures
For this event we want to specifically bring together people who are directly working on and developing WorkerTech solutions. For example, these could be tools that help workers organise and increase bargaining power, boost skills and pay, or reduce job insecurity.
There's also an opportunity to make a community announcement, so get in touch with us via Meetup messages or email at [masked].
Many thanks to Toynbee Hall for hosting us. Toynbee Hall is a power house of social reform and integral part in the journey of many key social innovators. Check out their site if you're interested in holding an event with them - toynbeehall.org.uk/venue-hire-2/ (quote BGV-Toynbee Hall for a one off discount.)
