What we're about

Welcome: To the World Amateur Golf Tour.
The World Amateur Golfers Championship is the world's most prestigious amateur golf tour founded by 4 time Olympic legend Sven Tumba. Mr Tumba had a dream to create an Olympic experience for the average person to feel the joy and honor to play for ones country in sport. The World Amateur Golfers Championship is that dream.

The Houston Tour, will feature approximately 15-20, 18 hole events per year in the Houston and the surrounding area. Many of these events are played at private country clubs where non members would not have access.
Winners at these events will compete for local order of merit points (LOM) along with Player of the Year points. (POY) For every 30 rounds played in the local tour, I can send the top LOM point leaders to the 2017 National Championship and their entrance fee is fully paid for them. (In 2016, 7 out of the 8 individuals that went to the National Championship, from the Houston Tour, paid no entrance fee)
The top Player of the Year is a separate category whereas this individual not only get their entrance fee to the National Championship paid, but also receive airfare and hotel accommodations (Up to $700) to the National Championship.
Entrance fee in the local events includes:
Green Fees
