DAY 1 Depart Washington on your overnight flight to Venice

DAY 2 Arrive in Venice
Check-in hotel. Later, join fellow travelers for a welcome dinner.

DAY 3 Venice
Take a walking tour of the historic center of Venice and enjoy Gondola rides with local musicians!

DAY 4 Bologna & Florence
Take part in a tour of Bologna’s old center. Later continue to Florence and check-in our hotel. Tonight, we'll enjoy dinner together.

DAY 5 Florence
Depart Florence and visit the Chianti countryside, famous for their wine production. Visit a wine farm, famous for the Chianti Classico. Enjoy a wine tasting and light lunch. Evening at leisure.

DAY 6 Florence
Stroll through the Signoria Square, before proceeding to the famous Ponte Vecchio. Visit Santa Croce Church Square where the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli are found. Visit the Accademia Gallery Museum and Michelangelo’s David. Evening at leisure.

DAY 7 Florence & Perugia
Visit the famous Florence Outlet, where you will have the opportunity to buy some of the most famous fashion brands in Florence! Continue to Perugia. Visit the Giuditta Brozzetti museum atelier. Later, continue on your afternoon walking tour of Perugia.

DAY 8 Rome
Arrive at Vatican City for a tour of the Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica where you will see another one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, La Pietà. End your Vatican experience in the magnificent Saint Peter’s Square.

DAY 9 Rome
Tour Ancient Rome, visiting the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Enjoy a last afternoon at leisure in the Eternal City, or join an optional gelato tour. This evening, take part in a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 10 Depart Rome / Arrive USA
Transfer to the airport for your return flight


DAY 10 Sorrento
Head south to Naples then visit Pompeii, the city frozen in time after Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. Continue to Sorrento and check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.

DAY 11 Sorrento
Drive along the Amalfi Coast and visit the beautiful village of Positano. Continue to Ravello, set high atop the hills. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Sorrento late this afternoon.

DAY 12 Sorrento
Explore the town of Sorrento or relax on your last day in Italy before your farewell dinner.

Today is devoted entirely to visiting Capri! Board a jetfoil and travel along the breathtaking Sorrento Peninsula to Marina Grande. Head to the top of Ana Capri for free time. Return to Sorrento for your farewell dinner.

DAY 13 Depart Naples/Arrive USA
Transfer to the airport in Naples for your return.

DAY 2 - Sep 6 - Arrive in Cairo
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt. Our hotel enjoys close up views of the pyramids. (Please note that lunch and dinner are not included today).

DAY 3 - Sep 7 - Cairo Highlights
This morning visit the Pyramids of Giza and enjoy up-close views of the the Great Sphinx. Lunch will be on your own today before we venture to the NEW Grand Egyptian Museum, (set to open late 2021). Next is the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar and our “Welcome to Egypt” dinner!

DAY 4 - Sep 8 - Cairo to Aswan
Say goodbye to Cairo and fly to Aswan (Time TBD). Visit a traditional Nubian Village, and have lunch. Later we'll explore this fascinating way of life. An optional excursion to Abu Simbel will be offered today. Dinner is on an independent basis this evening.

DAY 5 - Sep 9 - Nile Cruise Begins
Check out of your hotel and transfer to your Nile River Cruise ship for your three-night cruise from Upper Egypt to Lower Egypt.
All meals will be included and served aboard your ship for the duration of your Nile cruise experience.

DAY 6 - Sep 10 - Nile Cruise
Today you will sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolomaic Temple built for Horus the falcon god, and Sobek the crocodile god. Afterwards, sail to Edfu, an Egyptian city on the west bank of the Nile River. Tonight on the cruise boat we will enjoy a Galabia party!

DAY 7 - Sep 11 - Valley of the Kings
Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride early this morning to watch the sunrise over Luxor!

Today you will visit the Horus Temple in Edfu and the monuments in Luxor. This afternoon, explore the Valley of the Kings and tour the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

DAY 8 - Sep 12 - Luxor to Red Sea
Disembark the boat after breakfast and private transportation will bring you to our Hurghada beachfront resort.

Your room at this all-inclusive beach-front resort will have a partial ocean view. The rest of your is at your leisure.

DAY 9 - Sep 13 - Red Sea
Enjoy a free day at our all-inclusive beachfront resort.

DAY 10 - Sep 14- Red Sea Yacht Excursion
Join the group for a day of swimming and snorkeling on the Red Sea, our own private yacht! Tonight will be our final group dinner in Egypt!

DAY 11- Sep 15- Final Day at Red Sea
The flight schedules are TBD. The plan is to enjoy one final day at the resort, and take a late afternoon flight out.

Our unforgettable adventure to Colombia begins today as we depart Washington D.C. for Cartagena. On arrival we'll transfer to our hotel.

Cartagena de Indias
After breakfast, we'll head to San Basilio de Palenque. Founded in the 17th century by escaped slaves, the small village is considered the first free town in the Americas. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site because of the strong African linguistic, musical, and cultural traditions. Immerse completely in Afro-Colombian roots and traditions that are present in the beautiful culture. Enjoy a rum tasting that seeks to immerse you in the world of pirates, where your palate will take in this delicious hidden treasure. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Welcome Dinner (B, L, D)

Cartagena Food Tour & Colonial Tour
Enjoy a walking tour in Cartagena’s historical center accompanied by a professional photographer who will teach you how to capture the best charming spots of the colonial city. Then, take part in a foodie adventure. Discover what locals enjoy most. Get up close and personal with the real Cartagena: interact with locals, get an insight into their daily lives as you immerse completely in the culinary culture.

Cartagena to the Coffee Region
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight from Cartagena to the Coffee Region. On arrival, transfer to your first-class hotel. The coffee triangle is a region in Colombia that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can immerse completely in the world of Colombian coffee. Hike, mountain bike, or drive around the stunning landscapes, see the world’s tallest palm trees, and visit local farms to learn about the whole coffee-making process from the bean to your cup. Meals: Breakfast

Armenia Jeep Willies Plantation Tour
Leave your hotel and drive through the hilly landscapes and coffee plantations. At a meeting point, get in a Willy Jeep; they are normally used to bring fruits and coffee from the plantations. Drive along the trails in the central mountain chain and stop to visit the small village of Pijao. Then, you arrive at the “San Alberto” hacienda and attend a semi-professional coffee tasting, awaken your senses and learn to appreciate good coffee. End your tour with a cup of coffee before driving back to your hotel. Meals: Breakfast

Armenia to Bogota
This morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Bogota and start your city tour in “La Candelaria”, a historical neighborhood in downtown Bogotá. Walk along the cobblestone streets and enjoy the district’s blend of beautiful buildings, Spanish colonial architecture, and baroque churches. Visit the popular Gold Museum that contains over 34,000 gold pieces. Before going to the hotel, make a stop in the Usaquén district and enjoy a coffee and visit the Sunday flea market. Meals: Breakfast

Drive to Monserrate Hill, take the funicular up to the top, at an altitude of 10,000 ft. Spend some time appreciating the unparalleled views over Colombia’s capital. Visit the Fernando Botero Museum and appreciate the work of the Colombian painter and sculptor who is famous for his oversized characters. Enjoy lunch in a typical Colombian restaurant. Leave Bogotá and drive north to Zipaquirá. This City of Salt was built in the 18th century and boasts a historical center surrounded by quaint cafes and restaurants. Then, journey about 590ft. underground to uncover the famous salt cathedral. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Farewell Dinner (B, L, D)
