Write Stories Now Weekly Writing Salon
Hello! Write Stories Now Writing Salon is a group of serious writers, new and experienced, who gather each Thursday to write and share their work. The purpose of salon is to get writing done and receive feedback about what works in your writing. Since 2015, members have written books--fiction, narrative nonfiction and creative nonfiction, personal essays, and children's. You can come and write poetry, content for your blog, or song lyrics. It really doesn't matter what you write--everyone benefits from the time to write with like-minded people and receiving the feedback. We meet Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm at 9 Main Street above Yankee Pride Quilt Shop (across the street from Martone's Market). Bring your laptop, or your favorite journal and join us for two hours of writing and sharing our work. The salon is $15.

What we're about

Write Stories Now provides both a safe space and an encouraging one for people who want to write. Not a critique group, and not a place where you receive little more than platitudes about your work, Salon offers time to write and read your work and receive pointed and specific feedback about what is valuable in your writing piece.

Members love the creative camaraderie, how their writing moves others, and members return week after week because they see significant improvements in their writing, find it easier to write when home, and write longer and more pieces with greater ease.

Attend if you are new to writing or have years of experience, including published work. Everyone benefits from Salon--fiction, nonfiction, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, and more.

Salon opens your creative portals and what pours out is great writing.
