What we're about
A peer to peer meet-up for technical communicators: learn, share knowledge, and discuss processes and tools. If you care about helping your users have an awesome experience when they finally do read the docs, this meetup is for you. This meetup was inspired by the Write the Docs movement, please visit: http://www.writethedocs.org (http://www.writethedocs.org/) for more information.
The Write The Docs Brussels meetup is highly inclusive. Anyone with an interest in technology, communication, documentation and users experience is welcome. This can include programmers, tech writers, analysts, customer support folks, and marketeers.. If you have a suggestion for future discussion topics, or would like to make a presentation, please contact the group organisers.
Write the Docs is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund (if applicable) at the discretion of the event organizers. You can find our CoC at the Write the Docs website ( http://www.writethedocs.org/code-of-conduct/ ).
We try to record and then publish presentations/talks so those unable to attend can also benefit. Please take note that by attending you agree to this.
