NaNo Dedicated Writing Session
This is an additional Dedicated Writing Meeting for the month of November. I have opened up these meetings to support those engaged in the NaNoWriMo challenge of 50,000 words in one month. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will cheer each other on, regardless of the project we are working on. Plot bunny points will be awarded at this meeting! -- This a meeting dedicated to writing. Spend a little time communing with other writers and lots of time on your writing. It is not a workshop nor an instructional meeting. This is a gathering of writers at all levels finding support through creating a dynamic and supportive space in which to do their own writing. Bring your project, topic, or idea and make significant progress on it. Also, we build fabulous, supportive community for each other and celebrate our accomplishments with people who really get it. The meeting is open to all writers working on any type of writing project - fiction, non-fiction, bloggers, students, entrepreneurs, journaling and memoir writing, and more. I am continually amazed and inspired by the incredible projects everyone brings. I look forward learning about yours. Fee: $5 If we are all just sitting around writing, why the fee for this meetup? Good question. It has a few answers. First, this meeting is a facilitated event, which keeps everyone focused and accomplishing their goals. General gatherings easily (and frequently) degenerate into purely social time and little writing gets done. Second, I always prepare some tidbit of writing information or resource, plus I 'm willing to answer some questions and talk about writing. It's a great deal--my private consulting rate is considerably higher. Finally, spending time and money on your writing speaks to your genuine commitment to your goals. Don't let a wait list dissuade you from putting in your RSVP. Attendance can be quite fluid and a spot often opens up
