What can I expect?
Each workshop is limited to 6 participants only in order to create a safe creative environment to write in and share in discussions if you wish.
Each week a different topic will be creatively engaged with and explored through writing. To do this you will be provided with various writing exercises, approaches and prompts. There will be brief discussions about the topic or theme to further inspire different ways of thinking about, perceiving and writing about your experience with the topic and what can be learned from it going forward.
At the end of each workshop, you will have a better understanding of your emotional experience with, and ability to express in words a particular aspect of your life that resonates with that week's topic. The writing strategies practised each week may provide you with writing in ways that you find useful to continue without in your journal outside the workshop. These approaches to writing through emotions may also add to your healthy coping mechanisms for unpacking and constructively working through challenges and expressing yourself.
