It could be time to actually focus on taking some steps towards goals.
This week we may write about steps we could take or already are taking. Of course this is addition to the weekly "what do I want" exercise. I may also have a surprise exercise that is sure to bring extra delight and fun to the session : )
If anyone has any ideas please feel free to bring them. If anyone wants to lead this session please feel free to let me know.
We'll do a meet and greet and then do two or more short writing exercises.
The first one will be an easy topic which we use to get our writing flowing, spark ideas and have fun.
The second exercise is simply a writing exercise where we either list or describe what we want in life. We can keep it short and simple or lengthy and descriptive. We can be very practical and/or dream big.
After each exercise people can share their writing with the group or not.
I expect the meeting will likely last 1 to 1.5 hours.
The purpose of the group is to be supportive, have fun and work on creating whatever it is we long for in our life (even if we don't know what it is we long for: )
Bring your choice of writing media and maybe an idea for writing exercise for the group.
Black Spring coffee house is lovely cafe near downtown Oakland.
It has a lot of space for a group and plenty of on street parking.
