Hi and welcome to our club. We are part of YHA Australia. We have a varied program with lots to offer to active people looking for fun and friendship in the great outdoors. We have an active catamaran sailing program based at Lake Macquarie near Newcastle, open to all (no experience required). We sail 14-foot, 16-foot and 18-foot catamarans and welcome new people who want to try sailing or develop sailing skills.

We also have members who organise other outdoor activities such as bushwalking, kayaking, cycling plus weekends away staying at hostels or car camping. Members also organise social activities (restaurant nights, theatre parties, trivia nights and picnics). The club is open to everyone aged 18 and above. People looking for a full and active involvement are welcome.

We welcome people wanting to organise events. Just message the group or suggest an event. Organisers must be non-commercial and outdoor activities must be exclusive to our group (for public liability purposes). You can also email Mark, the coordinator, directly (marklovi.nc@gmail.com).

We have no joining fees as our activities are funded by attendance fees. All members are eligible to stand for our club committee.
