4300 Red Mountain Rd, Rossland, BC
Located in Rossland, BC – the first stop along the famous “Powder Highway” – RED delivers 2,877 lift-serviced acres (4,200 total!) of pristine skiing unfettered by over development. With epic vertical (2,919 ft/ 890 m!), in-bounds cat-skiing, wide-open groomers, 360-degree descents, a rich tradition, and—phew!—the BEST gladed tree runs in North America, this best-kept secret has been let out of the bag.
We have booked accommodation for 36 people in the Slalom Creek 3 Bedroom Premium Condos w. Private Hot Tubs in Red Mountain for the Alberta Family Day weekend - but not a holiday in BC so the crowds should be less.
There are several room configurations in each condo - and we will do our best to ensure you only sharing with 1 other person.
We will depart on Friday, February 17th at 1:00 pm. The bus will be at the pickup point for 12 noon to allow for loading and any necessary paperwork. Lunch will be provided.
We will have all day Saturday, and most of the day on Sunday, on the hills and trials of Red Mountain. On Sunday afternoon, we travel to the Super 8 in Cranbrook - with lots of leisure in the evening. Sorry - no private hot tubs here! Monday we have all day on the hills / trails before we head for home late in the afternoon.
