Aayush works in the Economics Product Analytics Team at Grab. His primary focus has been on Supply Shaping solutions that not only help Grab to improve its network efficiency but also maximise grab’s driver partners earning potential. He graduated from Singapore Management University with a major in Information Systems and a second major in Analytics.
Jagan received his PhD from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland in 2012, with a thesis on Bayesian graphical models, inference techniques and their applications to large scale video analysis and visual surveillance. Prior to joining Grab, Jagan was a research scientist and post-doctoral researcher at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center, developing novel deep learning methods for semantic video analysis and multi-modal analysis. He joined Grab in May 2017, and heads the Data science team for Machine learning and Maps, and looks after developing and deploying ML/AI algorithms for anything map-related.
Jeffrey Siaw is Data Science Lead in Trust, Identity and Safety, where he leverages data to ensure that Grab is the most trusted and safe platform in SEA. He's passionate about building machine learning systems to both enhance and simplify people's lives so that they can focus on the bigger picture. He holds an MSc in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning from University College London.
Lara PuReum Yim leads Data Partnership & Communications at Grab, spearheading the effort of making data-backed public policy recommendations to improve Southeast Asia’s infrastructural and mobility problems through technology and Grab’s data. She is a Fulbright Scholar and holds Master of International Affairs and Public Policy from Columbia University.
Nikhil Dwarakanath currently leads Analytics at Grab. Among other things, he has been driving the mandate to build a data driven product and a culture of experimentation. He is passionate about building objective, orthogonal and scalable solutions that leverage data. Through the years, he has also enjoyed building high performance data teams, and identifying white spaces where data sciences can be applied. Prior to Grab, Nikhil spent several years solving core data problems in the product & user domains for lending, retail, and direct to consumer internet companies.
Serene is the Data Science Lead for Transport at Grab, responsible for managing the development of intelligent data science solutions for Grab’s transport verticals across the region. Her team’s focus is on harnessing big data to solve challenging problems using machine learning, optimisation and simulation techniques, ensuring passengers and drivers enjoy a great allocation and ride experience.
Zhibo Sun is currently the Head of Product for GrabFood. Prior to that, he headed the product team for Transport, Passenger Experience and Driver Experience tech families at Grab and launched various popular products such as GrabShare, GrabHitch, JustGrab, GrabNow. He holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and National University of Singapore.
