This meet-up is for people interested in practicing Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga comes from the Taoist tradition of being in harmony with the rhythm and flow of nature. Yin emphasizes long mindful holds (2 to 5 minutes) that promote growth, clear energetic blockages and enhance circulation. Yin is an excellent practice for increasing flexibility, meditation, injured/active athletes, and those new to yoga.
Class meets Saturday: 5pm to 6:30. We will practice yin asanas for 75 minutes and end with a 15 minute guided meditation.
