Welcome to Yoga & Intuition for beginners and intermediate level Yogis, intuitive and gentle with a challenging edge for healthy expansion. My name is Maja Moritz and I am a certified and registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (https://www.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=152246) and specialize in intuitive Yoga. My teaching is Hatha Yoga based and the sessions will also provide deep relaxation at the end of each class. At present My classes are usually 75 minutes in duration.

Using your intuition with Yoga can greatly help listening to our bodies, gently adjusting postures to our individual needs, enhancing our overall well-feeling, and supporting you to create a practice which becomes uniquely your own.

Welcome to Term 4, Week 6: Exploring Energy! What does energy mean for you? Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. Oprah Winfrey It was the last sentence of last weeks session - by T.D. Jakes: "Your passion will lead you right into your purpose" and his full quote goes: "If you can't figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose." And this is the best energizer ever! The best spoiler ever though is when we look to others and the outside world for confirmation about what we have found and what excites us and feels like our calling, our purpose...No one will ever be able to feel exactly the same about what we are feeling, so it can be dangerous to look for verification elsewhere. We might end up not following our calling because of what others think about it. The most important skill for fully utilizing the energy of passion is to believe in ourselves first - before we listen to feedback and grant others a chance to have a say along the way. One of the most natural things, you would think, to accept oneself seems to be the most difficult thing to do for so many - we would rather run around and please everyone else in exchange for acceptance. In our 'Yoga for the mind' opening sequence this week we will look at this key aspect and how accepting oneself is a magic tool for unleashing the energy and power of passion and doors start flying open! Meditation: Sumner Meditation Group

There is a Yoga class on Sundays at 4pm before meditation starts at 5.30pm :) and the meditation session is included if you choose to combine both events! This meditation group is about freedom to do meditation your own way - no strings attached, no things to comply with, no religious orientation involved. If you do have a religious orientation which you prefer to follow, you are welcome as well, of course. Our group offers a space of openness, tolerance, inspiration and oneness.
