Mindful Sunday: Relaxation Meditation - Fire

Fire is attributed to transformational and purifying powers. It can give warmth and enable life, and it can also burn and destroy. Fire stands for Light, it is the Sun or Flame. The element symbolizes incredible energy, activity, creativity, passion, freedom, power, love, vision, anger, strength, will, assertiveness, courage, and dynamism. Fire is the raw physical energy of the universe. Think about the heat inside your body, your heart pumping and the sparks of electricity in your muscles and brain. These energies are fire in nature. This powerful energy gives us the motivation and drive to reach our goals. What is your passion? What lights you up? Would you like to add more excitement to your life? In this meditation, incorporate more fire into your life – to take action and bring your dreams to fruition. On this beautiful Sunday morning, join us for a relaxing meditation to calm the mind with like-minded new friends. Meditation generates inner peace and the ability to connect with yourself at a deeper level. When you sit with others, it can be powerful to influence one another in a community setting. And when you connect with yourself, it encourages a feeling of detachment and weightlessness. What if you have try meditation before and you can’t keep still? It’s alright, it’s a myth that you must clear your mind and not think about anything during meditation, but it’s not true. Meditation will allow you enter a deep state of relaxation.
