Yoga for Athletes - All Level
This class focuses on strengthening the core muscles, building endurance, expanding flexibility, improving balance and driving mental focus. Students will be guided through a sequence of Yoga poses to help heal and strengthen lower back muscles, hips and shoulders. Instruction for breathing and relaxation techniques will also be given to maximize the effect of Yoga on and off of the mat. The emphasis is on developing your personal practice - exploring your natural range of motion in all directions and finding ease in all movement and conditions. It is perfect for athletes or those looking to deepen and expand a yoga practice. This class is open to ALL levels from beginner to advanced, whether you've practiced Yoga before or not. We have all the equipment you need - just bring an open mind and your breath! :-) **Will this be your first time visiting Belmar's Gym? If so, this class is FREE. Bring your friends and family for an easy moving Sunday morning.**
