What we're about

Yoga in Daily Life is a system of yoga rooted in ancient wisdom with principles and practical techniques and exercises that guide us towards better health as well as greater awareness and understanding of ourself and life. It's very accessible to everyone and therefore practised by people of all ages and abilities, helping us to cope with and overcome stress and the demands and distractions of living in a busy modern world. At the moment we have drop-in evening classes throughout the week plus Friday mornings at Santosa Wellness Centre. We also have Saturday morning classes in Glasgow -> check out our *Yoga in Daily Life in Glasgow* Meetup group.

ONLINE CLASS - Deep Relaxation

Needs a location

This is an ONLINE class and you need to pre-register in advance on Zoom by clicking the 'Online Event' link provided - please do so at least a day before and also complete the emailed Registration Form that you'll receive after signing up on Zoom. Then you'll receive the Zoom Join Meeting link in another confirmation email.

Give yourself the bliss of winding down at the end of the week with the deep physical and mental relaxation experienced in Yoga Nidra. This technique involves lying down on the floor for a slow guided body scan, breath absorption and intention-setting resolve. We finish with a short peaceful seated meditation.

Suitable for all - particularly recommended for those in a healing process or recovering from illness.

The class is suitable for adults of all ages and all levels of ability and experience - including absolute beginners.

We enjoy relaxation, stretching, dynamic exercises and relaxing yoga postures (asanas), pranayama breathing techniques and a short meditation from the system Yoga in Daily Life®.
