YogaHike Sonoma excursions last from 120 minutes up to 4.5 hours and take place in variety of scenic locations throughout Sonoma County. We meet up to 2 weekend mornings per month. Locations will be announced here and on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/yogahikesonoma.
A YogaHike Sonoma journey ranges from $25 and up, depending on where we're going and what we're doing. Contributions go toward conceiving and coordinating each YogaHike destination and bringing more amazing yoga classes outdoors (or in spectacular indoor locations during the winter) to more people.
YogaHike Sonoma is founded by Carla Hebert, CYT, a Yoga Alliance 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Carla received her primary training at the Shoshoni Yoga Ashram & Shambhava School of Yoga (http://www.shoshoni.org) located in a quiet mountain town high in the Rocky Mountains above Boulder, Colorado. Teaching since 2001, Carla's teaching style blends vinyasa flow (a moving meditation linking body and breath) with an alignment-based practice to bring strength, balance and mindfulness both on and off the mat. She approaches her teaching with creativity and joy, drawing inspiration and continuous learning from the Anusara, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions. Carla is currently pursuing her 500-hour yoga teacher certification at Yoga Tree San Francisco.
