YogaMac encourages you to slow down and reconnect with your authentic self. Everyone is welcome here; regardless of experience, body type, or orientation. Small classes promote your personal growth on and off the mat. Classes are tailored to meet the needs of individuals that are present.
Monday night (8pm) class is: Yoga for Athletes.
If you train for competition or for fun and health, chances are likely that you have developed tightness and some aches and pains. Complement your training with a yoga class designed especially for you. Each class will contain a vigorous warm up sequence, core-strengthening, and a large portion of class will be designated to releasing the trouble areas so common in athletes. Props will be utilized to safely and most effectively get into those tight muscles, so don't worry if "you can't touch your toes." This class is just what your body needs.
Wednesday evening class (6pm): Dropout Yoga
Tired of the typical yoga scene? Dropout.
Feel like you don’t belong in the average class? Dropout.
Want to practice without judgment on your current skill level? Dropout.
Feel like your needs aren’t being met? Dropout.
Dropout Yoga is a fun, welcoming atmosphere that accepts and encourages all the yoga black sheep to come as you are. Here it doesn’t matter what you wear, whether or not you can do handstand, or what you look like. Don’t give up on yoga, just Dropout! Embrace YOU.
Both classes are light-hearted while still be challenging, providing you with a safe environment to explore and have fun.
