This community is for individuals looking to learn and utilize simple techniques that can help increase your awareness and get the most out of our daily life.

Our most popular session consists of 30 minutes of breathing yoga (Pranayama), followed by 25 minutes of Om chanting meditation. Western research is now proving what yogis have known all along: Breathwork can deliver powerful mind and body benefits.

Pranayama, consists of various yogic exercises that are easy to learn, simple to do yet very powerful and beneficial. We will be teaching and doing exercises that help in dealing with stress, weight loss, relieving asthma symptoms, lower blood pressure, great for the brain and more. Most of these exercises are prescribed in ancient vedic scriptures dating as back as 1500 BC. Regular pranayama can extend life and enhance ones perception of life.

"Om" is a universal sound - It is said to be the primordial sound born with the universe. As we exhale the A-U-M, its vibration links us to the original source of creation. When done properly, the sound reverberates from the pelvic floor upward through the crown of the head, filling the body with pulsating energy that simultaneously empowers and radiates tranquility.

We are a spiritual group, everyone is welcomed. No prior experience is necessary.

This meetup is run in association with a non-profit, all donations are welcomed and donated to the Divine Art of Yoga Ashram in Orange County, CA.
