• Barefoot Coloring! (Bare feet optional)

    Sonnewald Farm

Take off your shoes and color a while! Coloring Coterie will be meeting up every Second Saturday at Sonnewald farm this summer, starting May 11th. Bring your favorite coloring materials (we'll have some pencils and crayons on hand as well) and grab a drink or snack at one of the vendors or select something scrumptious inside Sonnewald Natural Foods (they've got kombucha!) The coloring space will be set up in a booth between 10am and 2pm, and volunteers to help set up or pack up are most welcome. We will be next to the Kindness Rock painting booth, on the green at Sonnewald Farm, a 60-acre, chemical free farm in Spring Grove behind Sonnewald Natural Foods. (Look for the tiny prayer flags!) There are a ton of other fun activities happening the May 11th Second Saturday, including two 90-minute Weed Walks, laid-back lawn games, an Heirloom Seed Share, vendors, live music, and more. There's limited seating in chairs/at the table, but there is a whole lot of space to spread out on the grass and color, and let me tell you -- coloring in nature is a WONDERFUL way to spend your saturday! So bring a clipboard too if you've got one, and come kick off your shoes and color with us!

  • Coloring & Coffee

    Location visible to members

Let's get together and color! Kelly and Purkey have generously offered their newly-rearranged basement studio as a gathering spot! Space is limited, so RSVPs are required for this one. (There's *plenty* of parking -- the dozens of guest spots are the ones lining the big grassy island.) Bring your own coloring accoutrements, and a brunch-like nibbly-thing to share. We'll have coffee and a variety of teas on hand, and probably some donut-like brunchy thing. Come hang out in a nifty space with nifty people and indulge in a zero-pressure creative activity!
