Welcome to the Project Data Analytics Community. We created this community to share best practise on leveraging data within a project, programme and portfolio environment. We all know that data has the potential to transform how projects, programmes and portfolios are delivered, but practical implementation constraints often prevent the full value from being realised. At community meetups we will explore some of the challenges at the intersection of data analysis and project, programme and portfolio management and discuss how practitioners are working to resolve them, underpinned by real world examples. We'll also explore how machine learning and AI can help to resolve some of the challenges at the intersection of project / programme management and big data.
Project Data Analytics also have meetup communities in London, Bristol, Aberdeen and the North-West.
One of the biggest requests from the Project Data Analytics Community last year was for there to be more masterclasses. We’ve heard you and we are happy to be launching our new masterclass series.
The first of 2021 will be led by Will Reynolds, the Principal Digital Applications Developer at Hoare Lea. Will is going to be taking a deep dive into how we can rapidly derive insights from connected data.
In a world of dynamic and complex data it is a challenge to build digital systems which can fully harness this data whilst being highly responsive to change. What if there was a way to interact and store data in a way which is semantically identical to the real world?
One such solution is graph data, this talk will look at graph data, how it differs from other database solutions, and it's practical application in systematically capturing complex systems in relation to designing building services.
We'll look at a full stack solution to working with graph data and the practical steps to getting it up and running.
