Getting a campsite in Yosemite during the spring and summer is difficult. You must reserve your site 4 - 5 months in advance and you have to do it right at 7:00am on the dot. At 7:01 sites are gone. Yosemite Campsite Share is about helping more people camp in Yosemite. How? We are allowed up to 6 people per site and if you behave, you can get away with 8. Often people who reserve a site only have 2-4 people with them. So lets put all that extra space to good use. It's time to create a place for people who love all Yosemite activities to post their sites and invite others to join them.
We think you'll meet lots of great people. It's a bit of an adventure in itself. Likely you'll share some stories, some food, even some beer and wine. We've met many friends this way and the community keeps growing. You teach us about your fancy outdoor cooking skills and we might show you an awesome "off the beaten path" hike or a secret destination.
Hi from Canada. My bf and I are looking for a campsite to join on the 1 July (we were so lucky to get half dome permits but not a campsite) I'm originally from Australia and he's from Brasil and we'd be more than happy to make friends and chat about adventures and travel over a campfire.
I have booked a tent cabin in Half Dome Village for 4 persons (1 double bed and 2 single beds) on 16-18 July. We are 2 persons confirmed, and one more guy who might or might not come. For sure we have space for 1 extra person, maybe for 2 (depending on whether the other guy confirms or not). The price per person per night is 39.65$. Let me know if you are interested.
