Enjoy a yoga class that evokes feelings of support, emotional calmness and deep engagement with your body. Adaptive Gentle Yoga embraces the tranquil ambiance of the studio to soothe the nervous system, quiet the mind and soften tense muscles. Our focus is on a healing practice, with a goal to remove any intimidation that a more active class may generate. The studio provides plenty of props making the practice easily accessible. Special attention will be given to breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and restorative yoga poses. This class is targeted to students with some form of physical limitation or restriction, which is a broad description and keeps it open to many different people. Enjoy 90 minutes of personalized attention to reduce tension, blood pressure, mental stress and fatigue. You may even make a new yoga friend!
