Welcoming anyone living in/nearby, or new to the Ypsi scene! There will be a lot of upcoming events happening year-round, in addition to us just getting together at some local hot spots and having a good time! Let's spend some time getting togeths, going out, and having a great time with new friends while we celebrate our community!!
We look forward to meeting you at an upcoming event! 😎
This is a FREE workshop to prepare a luminary for ypsiGLOW happening on 10/25 (see our group event)!!
This is more of a notification that this workshop is happening. I'll be there around 11-2 probs to finish my badass luminary ;) 👽👽👽👽
The resources are provided for free!
This is absolutely one of my fave Ypsilanti events for Halloween time!
Highland Cemetery is a beautiful cemetery located very close to Depot Town. You will hold a real gas lantern and take a walking tour of the cemetery while learning about some of those buried there.
James Mann is a local historian who recently wrote an Ypsi book and has some good, dry humor that he throws into this tour - all around a good time!
It's about 2 hours (last time i went, took about 2.5-3), with hills and off-the-path walking. It will also likely be cold as this event takes place at night, so please dress accordingly!
Tickets are $10, cash only. You will give to James at the event.

Lastly, I picked Sunday so more of our group could go together, vs a busier Friday/Saturday night.
See you there!
Welcome Ypsilanti 20s and 30s! We will be regularly meeting at Cultivate every Tuesday at 7:30pm for live trivia!
We will have two tables (two teams) reserved for us moving forward, but may need a third table depending on turnout. I recommend getting there early to get a good spot!
Cultivate serves beer, cocktails coffee, tea, and some snacks/sandwiches!
Let's celebrate our community by attending ypsiGLOW!
Come ready for a badass party - this is the third annual event and will be bigger and brighter than ever!
Processions will leave from Depot Town and the Ypsilanti District Library (Downtown) around 6:30 to meet Downtown Ypsi at 7:00. We can all get together around 7:30 and party the night away :)
I'll most definitely be creating a luminary - I am very interested in creating a group piece - tell me if you are too!!! You can create your own or attend a GLOWorkshop where instructors will help. If there is high interest, I may try to coordinate a class for us, so RSVP if interested!
There will be after parties and more things to do past 9:30 if interested.
More details to come.
Please read more about ypsiGLOW and how it is an awesome event put on for the community by the community.
