THINKGS WE DO:
Coffee/brunch, happy hour, museums, day trips, weekend trips, 'Dinner & a Movie', wine tasting, concerts, plays, casual get- togethers, game night, potlucks, hanging out, chatting it up, outdoor activities, volunteering in our communities.
THINGS WE DON'T DO:
*Support promotion or networking of any kind. ...no exceptions! All unapproved invites, or comments, will be deleted as well as the person that posted it.
*Drink in access(you will be removed from the group), or smoke at events.
*Bring our children to events.
THINGS TO KNOW:
Because some of our events are held at our member's home, some events will be for "Seasoned Members Only.( members that have been to 30 or more events)If you are not a Seasoned Member, but would like to attend one of these events, you must be approved by the member hosting the event...no exceptions! A non seasoned member may receive an invite by the host(she may not have attended many events but the host knows her well enough to send an invite)this is solely up to the host.
Members are given a star after attending their first event:
1-5 attended events is a *Member
5-15 is a ***Member
15 + is a *****Seasoned Member
We will follow common rules of courtesy. If you RSVP, please show up. An RSVP is a social commitment to yourself, the organizer, and the rest of the group. If your plans change, please update your RSVP.
***ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE PROMPTLY REMOVED FROM THE GROUP***
*Any individual with(3) "no show" or a history of "late bail outs"(cancelling within 24 hours of the event)will be removed from the group. We have a 10 minute wait rule for events. Those who RSVP and are late may be left behind. It is your responsibility to take care and manage your own RSVP's. This means changing your RSVP to "no" when you are unable to attend an event.
*Joining this group and never returning to the site to see what events are planned will also see you removed from the group.
*This group is capped at 50...So, in order to make room for new members, and to make our meetup a good experience for us all.....please do not request to join this group if your schedule does not allow you to attend at least one meetup in the first month, and at least one every three months after that. Also… if you have been a member of this group for 4 or more months and have never attended (or haven't in a few months), you will be removed from the group at some point....no membership refunds.
*The organizers reserve the right to remove anyone from the group who violates these rules, does not fit the perimeters of our group, has not paid dues, has a negative impact on the group, or endangers the safety and security of others.
*A photo showing your face clearly enough to identify you to other members is required. I will not approve a member that does not have a clear photo.
*Members often would like to share rides to events. It is up to the person(s)looking for a ride to obtain one. When securing a ride with another member, it is the rider's responsibility to require adequate car insurance, safety of the vehicle, and competence of the driver. Any monetary contributions are to be arranged between the driver and the rider. WSG of Yuba & Sutter and it's members assume no responsibility in the event of an accident or injury.
