The Zalando Diversity Guild aims to spark change and celebrate diversity to level up inclusion in the technology industry. The Diversity Guild consist of Zalando employees who volunteer their time to support projects that address issues relating to diversity and inclusion.
In this Meetup we aim to have an open, honest and authentic conversation about negotiation for underrepresented groups. Whilst the wage gap is a symptom of a larger issue, knowing your worth and being able to effectively and confidently negotiate is a critical skill. From working with recruiters to your own lead, from navigating your own compensation to your next promotion, negotiation can be a powerful tool in our everyday lives. During this interactive session, we will explore how to earn yourself a seat at the table and be confident in negotiating your position.

Cassandra is currently a Program Manager at Zalando with two and a half years background in technical and commercial program management and a focus on driving efforts to fulfill Zalando’s strategic customer proposition. She is an intersectional feminist, and would have most definitely been sorted into House Slytherin.
