Mindfulness Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a therapeutic treatment practice that targets emotion dysregulation. Individuals can often become emotionally dysregulated by various events, not because of the actual events themselves, but by the judgments and self talk they have have about these events.
A mindful approach to this dilemma would be to approach the unpleasant task in the spirit of self love and acceptance. By learning to mindfully regulate negative self talk we can learn to live from a place of self love and compassion which ultimately leads to increased productivity and a state of inner peace.
The session will begin with a meditation consisting of sound bowls to calm our minds, while breathing in calming essential oils.
