## 1. Ivan Herak: Code archeology - refactoring legacy app

### Description

We have all faced legacy code and the dread of refactoring it to fit new requirements.

In this talk, I would like to share my experiences and practices acquired during an upgrade of 6 years old application, inside a 10 person team.

I will touch everything from team relationships to practical advices during such a bold move.

My name is Ivan Herak. I'm a PHP developer at Netgen, working mostly in Symfony. My interests include motorcycles, scotch, and clean code.


## 2. Ivo Lukač & Edi Modrić: Open source to the core

After many years of open-sourcing lot of smaller features in eZ and Symfony space, we now open-sourced our flagship product: Netgen Layouts. In this talk, we will share why and how you can start using it.

### Speakers short bio
Ivo Lukač is the co-founder of Netgen, focused on product development of Netgen Layouts. Also the main guy behind Web Summer Camp conference in Rovinj, Croatia.

Edi Modrić is a PHP & Symfony developer working at Netgen, making Netgen Layouts better every day. Loves heavy metal and open source.
