614 Lincoln Place between Franklin Ave. and Bedford Ave.

Lincoln Place is one block north of Eastern Parkway.  Franklin Ave is two long blocks from Washington Ave, where the museum is.  It's the Franklin Ave. stop on the 2,3,4 or 5 train, the stop after Eastern Parkway.

Want to do something interesting after work? Maybe meet new creative people in a cool laid back setting?

Want to work on a project, or get started on some collage/mixed media art?

Have you ever wondered what to do with your old junk mail? Got an old trashy novel you don't read anymore?
Maybe some ticket stubs from a concert you went to?

Come out after work, to do some collage work and rubber stamping!

It's so much fun. I'll bring some of my favorite stamps, magazines, papers and such, and you bring something to alter! It could be a book, a little cardboard box, whatever!

You can also bring your own project to work on, and just make art, and chat with us!

Bring your jewelry making supplies, or sketch book! Bring your embroidery or whatever you've got and join us!

Also, destash some of your unwanted supplies! I know I will be bringing some of my unwanted pretty papers and things.

NOTE: You should bring your own glue stick and scissors, if you want to do rubber stamping or collage with me! I will have some, but we don't want to have to share them or run out!

Bring an cheap composition book, or cheap journal from the dollar store, and remake it! Or if you like card making, I'll have some supplies for that.

Best of all, this is a cool way to get together with other creative people in a REALLY cool environment like the Brooklyn Museum! Neat, right?

I was wondering if we could ever do stamping on fabric? I think it was you who posted something about woodcuts or rubber stamps being used to custom design fabric.
