About Video Chat Networking Events

Welcome to the online home of Video Chat Networking Events / Web Cam Pitch Party! We're bringing solopreneurs from all over the country together for organized, video/webcam networking events using a "pitch party" format. A pitch party is when everyone takes a turn giving their one-minute "elevator pitch" so that others can better understand what they are selling, to whom they are selling, and the benefits of their product or service. We're able to do this using the free platform provided by PalTalk.

Because of the tendency to recruit rather than market a product or service, no MLM is allowed to participate in this group's video chat networking events / web cam pitch parties.

We only have room for 10 participants.

A. You'll need a webcam and a hands-free headset

For a webcam, any webcam will do. Personally, I have a Logitech C500. Check it out by CLICKING HERE.

It usually goes for under $50. It's also a good idea to have a headset so that you can talk hands-free. If you don't have one yet (not mandatory but recommended), I'd suggest that you get one with a volume/mute control on the cord and stereo headphones (I like the over-the-ear models ... more comfortable in my opinion).

I highly recommend that you get one with a traditional 1/8" jack to plug into your computer instead of the USB which can be temperamental. Some have both...that's fine. Plantronics is a great company to go with. CLICK HERE for an example.

B. Set up a PalTalk Account

C. Create Your Own 60-Second Commercial

You fill in the blanks. Here is the flow:

  • Your name
  • Your company’s name
  • Benefits to the customer
  • Further describe some of the features and benefits
  • Identify your niche
  • Identify your niche again
  • Your tagline or company slogan
  • Your name
  • Your company’s name

My name is _____________________________, and I’m affiliated with a company called _____________________________.

What we do is _____________________________. _____________________________.

An ideal customer for me would be _____________________________.

Who do you know who is a _____________________________? If you know anyone like that, please

let me know.

Again, my name is ________________________, and I’m affiliated with ______________________.

Thank you for your attention.

Sample of 60-Second Commercial

My name is Tyrone Turner, and I’m affiliated with a company called Send Out Cards.

What Send Out Cards does is help people to send real greeting cards over the Internet.

Not e-cards, but REAL greeting cards like you would buy at a card shop.

Send Out Cards prints the cards out, stuffs them in envelopes, puts a stamp on them, and mails the cards to your contacts for you. It can even be done in your own handwriting, but you never have to touch the cards.

It only takes about a minute to send one or even one thousand cards. This is good for busy sales people because it helps them to save time, energy, and money, and helps you to stand apart from the competition.

The kind of referrals that I’m looking to receive are sales manager and marketing directors in the following industries: insurance; and real estate.

If you know anyone like that, please let me know.

Like Maya Angelou said, “People will forget what you say, and they’ll even forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

My name is Tyrone Turner, aka ‘Ty the Card Guy’.

Thank you for your attention.
