Seeuferweg Hallwilersee and Lindenberg

The plan is to walk along the eastern Hallwillersee then up through the cool forest to the Lindenberg (878 m) and walk to Bettwil where we can catch a bus back to Lenzburg.

Easy paced walked:

Distance: 24.5 km (wanderweg)

Ascent/Descent: = +570 m/-370 m

Hiking Time: 6.5 h

Along the way we will stop at the strandbad for a cup tea and a biscuit.

Suncream is recommended. There are plenty of fountains along the way for the thirsty.

After hiking we can return to the lake for a dip and enjoy the afternoon sun.

The Rendezvous: We meet in Lenzburg Bahnhof on platform 7 in time to take the 08.38 train to Boniswil.

How to get to Lenzburg:

From Zurich HB: take the 08:08 train (platform 15, direction Basel), arriving 08.27 in Lenzburg.

From Basel HB: take the 07.47 train (platform 7, direction St Margrethen), arriving 08.30 in Lenzburg.

From Brugg: take the 07.51 Bus

From Lenzburg Platform 7:

We take the 08.38 train (direction Luzern) arriving 08.51 in Bonswil.
