Saturday is fine to me as well.

Dear members,
So far 17 people have RSVP'ed to hike to Rigi - an amazing response for an amazing hike. If you haven't there is still time :-)

Considering the Swiss weather gods may play spoilsport, I will send another update on Friday, but here's preliminary information.

We will take the train and cablecar halfway up Rigi, then hike to the top. It is a mostly easy to moderate hike of about 3hrs. For the return we take the train all the way down, or alternately return by boat via Luzern (depending on time).

Note that the train trip costs CHF 47 return with half-price card, and a return via Luzern will be more. As a group of 10, we will qualify for a 20% discount. However, please factor this into your plans. If you are coming from outside Zurich, it may be better not to come to Zurich - please let me know.

Finally, considering the weather I would also like to have an alternative plan. For this, I'd like to know:
1. If you would be in favor of moving the hike to Saturday. Raphael informs me that it should be better weather.
2. Any suggestions for other things to do Sunday? In particular, who can volunteer a car for potential short day trips nearby?

I look forward to your ideas for the hike, and to see you on the weekend!
