Announcing a new Meetup for Zurich Hike & Outdoor!

What: Visit the lovely Christmas-Market in Strasbourg

When: November 30,[masked]:45 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: You haven't got the perfect Christmas Present yet? Do you enjoy French Food? Are you interested in historic cities? Visit the stalls at the lovely Christmas-Market in Strasbourg. Enjoy the atmosphere, have a "Gl?hwein" (or two :-), try a torte flamb?e and enjoy a stroll through the historic City of Strasbourg.

I suggest that we'll take in the atmosphere at the Christmas Market, take a walk around Strasbourg and have an early dinner. Afterwards we head back home with the possibility to stop in Basle....

The tickets cost (Zurich-Strasbourg/Strasbourg-Zurich):

a) GA: CHF 46.00
b) Halbtax: CHF 67.00
c) without any reduction: CHF 87.00

Cost for reservation: CHF 5.00 per Person

The train to Strasbourg leaves Zurich at 10.02, arrival in Basle at 10.56. Departure from Basle: 11.18, arrival in Strasbourg-ville: 12.34
I suggest, that everybody buys their own ticket. I will try to make reservations, so I need to know how many are coming.

We might leave Strasbourg around 6 pm, earlier departures are possible. There are trains approx. every half an hour to Basle. From Basle you can catch a train back to Zurich every half an hour as well.

Please note that you need to take your travel documents with you (passport) to enter France.
