hike with goats & local culinary highlights fom Graubünden

On the culinary hike  you will experience nature, culture and cuisine. You can enjoy local specialties, walk on the Albula Bahnerlebnisweg along the most spectacular section of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Räthischen Railway. and round off the day with a visit to the railway museum Albula into Berguen. Accompanied by Bergüner goats from the farm Plaschair it is served on the Hike not be bored.

07:15 Meet in zürich

10.01 arv.  Filisur

10:05-11:00:                                                                                                   Farmhouse breakfast in Bahnhöfli Filisur.  in the former office of the station master pamper you and Brigitte Grimm her team at the railroad junction Filisur with a rich breakfast buffet.                                                                                                                

Menu: bread, pigtail, Filisurer alpine and mountain cheese. Filisurer yogurt, honey from the region, muesli; Coffee, milk.

11:00-11:30                                                                                                                    after the nice breakfast, we take the train through the wild nature of the Albula valley to Preda. You drive through loop tunnels and stone viaducts - Masterpieces from the railway pioneer days.

11:30:                                                                                                                 Goats aperitif in Preda.Taste the Bergüner goat cheese of Cloetta family and you learn interesting to
Albulalinie and the renewal of the Albula tunnel.

12:30                                                                                                             Bergüner organic aperitif in Punt Ota.  Directly from the farm serve the
Bergüner farm families Gregori, Nicolay and Schmidt a random selection of organic products.

14:00                                                                                                                  Lunch at the campsite Berguen. jonny Berry and Mary Egenolf prepare for you fresh from Pizochels Gran Alpin flour. Gran Alpin is a cooperative of organic farmers, they promotes the mountain farming in the graubünden. Musical entertainment with „Igls Sepplis da Brauegn”

Menu: Pizochels of special Gran Alpin flour mixture; Gran Alpin beer from Graubünden organic barley

15:30 Dessert at the Kurhaus Berguen. The dessert is served in
imposing monument protection Art Nouveau hall with the light blue vaulted ceiling im Kurhaus Bergün, the "Historic Hotel of the Year 2012" served.

Menu: Homemade chocolate cake Filisurer with yoghurt ice cream on a mint pesto; Kaffee oder Tee

17:00 Albula Railway Museum, Visit to zhe end the railway museum at Albula in Berguen and experience the history of the Rhätischen Railway. Admission and guided tour are
included in the offer.
